I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to raise money for The Children's Heart Foundation and its mission: To advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs) by funding the most promising research. CHDs are the most common birth defect and the leading cause of birth defect-related mortality, and The Children's Heart Foundation is the leading organization solely dedicated to CHD research funding. I have set a goal to raise $2,500 to help fund critical CHD research.
